THE SCOOP ON FROZEN FUN
It was a beautiful afternoon in Goa when Vasuki Punj, a lawyer/entrepreneur, and her friends were enjoying scoops of gelato from this place everyone was raving about – Cream Choc. While her first thought when she tasted the gelato was, “Oh my god, it’s exactly like it is in Europe, if not better”, someone at the table lamented, “Why can’t we get this in Delhi?”
The gelateria Cream Choc Goa needs no introduction, especially since it has gained cult status due to their delectable flavours. The Italian founder Davide Passarella, fondly and well-deservedly known as Mr. Gelato, is the master chef who creates the magic. With over 30 years of culinary experience focusing on gelato recipes, Davide has brought many a smile to people’s faces.
From an idea that transpired as the result of a casual remark to now a brand making its presence felt in the country’s capital, Frozen Fun intends to redefine the frozen dessert experience of Indians and become the benchmark of quality and consistency in this space.
Vasuki believed that the Indian frozen dessert market was lacking & with the right product, one could build a brand that sets the standard in this space. Partnering with Davide, Vasuki co-founded Frozen Fun with the aim to make Davide’s gelato accessible to all.
Cream Choc is being rebranded under the apt brand name Frozen Fun. Gelato in Italian, literally means “Frozen” and we hope every bite of our gelato is Fun.
It’s still the same gelato with a different name; the same taste and a different game.
